Summer Camps
The Emily K Center is proud to partner with local organizations to provide three weeks of summer camp opportunities. Our basketball and drama camps provide a fun and safe environment open to both Emily K Center students and the broader Triangle community.

In partnership with the Justice Theater Project, the Emily K Center hosts a two-week drama camp each summer. Open to rising second- through ninth-graders, campers will work with professional theater instructors and study acting, stage movement, dance, and production. At the end of the camp, students stage a full production for family and friends.

The Emily K Center will not be holding its own Basketball Camp this summer. However, we are pleased to host i9 Sports for a weeklong, half-day basketball clinic from July 24 – 28. This clinic is open to children of all skill levels, ages 5 to 13. Children ages 5 to 8 will participate in the morning sessions and those ages 9 to 13 will attend the afternoon sessions. Clinic attendees will learn shooting, dribbling, passing, rebounding and defensive skills while participating in drills and mini games that will help prepare them for i9 Sports basketball leagues.
