The Emily K Center is proud to partner with local organizations to provide three weeks of summer camp opportunities. Our basketball and drama camps provide a fun and safe environment open to both Emily K Center students and the broader Triangle community.
Each summer, the Emily K Center partners with CJ Wilson Hoops Academy to host a one-week basketball camp. Open to boys and girls who will enter grades two through nine in the fall of 2021, this camp focuses on building core basketball skills while also allowing time for scrimmages, games, and fun competitions. The camp culminates with a tournament on the final day. Each camper receives a Nike camp T-shirt and lunch daily as part of their registration fee. Traditionally, campers have also had the chance to hear from members of Duke University’s men’s and women’s basketball teams, as they visit to talk with campers and sign autographs.
Camp details for 2021 are still pending and will be posted soon.
