Facility Partners

The Emily K Center is proud to be a part of the vibrant Durham community. We partner with almost 50 organizations annually, allowing them to utilize the Center’s multipurpose rooms, gymnasium, and stage to help further their own important programming. Each facility partnership is unique. Some Facility Partners meet at the Center weekly to run their own programs, while others may hold quarterly meetings or host a larger annual event.

The 29,000 square foot Emily K Center houses seven multi-purpose rooms and a stage that opens into a full-size, dividable gym featuring the 2001 NCAA Final Four floor. These spaces can accommodate academic and leadership programming, community and business meetings, workshops, and special events.

In addition to established partnerships, we look forward to building new partnerships with organizations who drive positive impact in our city and state. Organizations interested in using the Center for meeting space should contact the Center to request availability. Organizations interested in hosting workshops, programs, and events will need to complete our New Partner Process which includes an initial inquiry, exploratory meeting, development of a partnership agreement, and periodic check-ins after implementation.
