North Carolina Child Care Hotline to help families find child care programs that are open and meeting NCDHHS health and safety guidelines. Parents and caregivers can call (888) 600-1685 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Care options are available in licensed child care facilities for children from infants through age 12.
Access food for children via text: Parents who need food assistance for their children can text FOODNC to 877-877 to locate nearby free meal sites. The texting service is also available in Spanish by texting COMIDA to 877-877.
End Hunger Durham
End Hunger Durham has launched a free app to help Durham residents find food resources. Download this app via your app store by searching Durham Food Resources. For more information on the app, click here.
Durham Neighbors Free Lunch Initiative
The Durham Neighbors Free Lunch Initiative is providing contact-less free meals, Monday-Friday, through local restaurant Geer Street Garden. For more information visit www.DurhamFreeLunch.com.

Internet Connectivity Options
Free broadband and wi-fi for 60 days, including installation, for K-12 households. To sign up, call (844) 488-8395
Internet access for qualifying limited income households at $10 a month through Access from AT&T program (available to SNAP participants).
Customers with metered data plans will receive unlimited data per month for 60 days (a minimum of two bill cycles) at no extra cost, and Sprint will provide customers with an additional 20GB of mobile hotspot data per month for 60 days (a minimum of two bill cycles) at no extra cost. Customers with mobile hotspot-capable handsets who don’t have mobile hotspot today will now get 20GB as well per month for 60 days (a minimum of two bill cycles) at no extra cost.

- Check My Symptoms (Comprobar Mis Síntomas) (https://ncdhhs-covid19-dtra.powerappsportals.us/es-ES/), a public website that allows people to enter their symptoms to determine if they should consider getting tested for COVID-19. If a test is recommended, they will receive a link to a list of nearby testing sites via email or text.
- Find My Testing Place (www.ncdhhs.gov/TestingPlace), a public website that allows people to enter their county or ZIP code and access a list of nearby testing site locations online.
