About the Ball

The Emily K Center’s annual Mother’s Day Ball honors the role of family and community in the development of today’s youth. Inspired by Coach Mike Krzyzewski’s relationship with his mother, Emily, the Ball brings together individual and corporate leaders for an evening of celebration in support of the Center. The 2027 Mother’s Day Ball will take place at 6 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2027, at Durham’s Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club.

Stay Overnight!

Special room rates will be available for Mother’s Day Ball guests who would like to stay overnight at the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club. Information will be posted closer to the event.
