Game Plan: College provides free information, advice, and support designed to help high school students plan for and pursue their educational and career goals beyond high school.

Game Plan: College ofrece información, asesoramiento y apoyo gratuito con el fin de ayudar a los estudiantes de secundaria a planificar y lograr sus metas educativas y profesionales más allá de la escuela secundaria. Todos los programas y servicios de Game Plan: College son gratuitos y están abiertos a los estudiantes de secundaria que residen en el condado de Durham. En particular el programa busca trabajar con estudiantes que provienen de familias con necesidades económicas no cubiertas, estudiantes que serán los primeros en sus familias en asistir a la universidad, o estudiantes que son miembros de un grupo racial tradicionalmente marginado.

Dwayne Campbell, Ed.D.

Dwayne came to the Emily K Center in 2018 to lead our Game Plan: College program as the director of postsecondary access. A native of Jamaica, Dwayne earned his B.A. from the University of the West Indies. He went on to earn his M.Ed. at Boston College and his Ed.D. from the University of Rochester.

Jackie Cerón Hernández

Jackie first came to the Emily K Center as a student in the Scholars to College program. After graduating from college, she came back to join us as a full-time staff member in 2017. Today Jackie serves as a postsecondary access advisor for Game Plan: College. She earned her B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Jackie works with the following high schools: Southern School of Energy and Sustainability, Hillside High School, Middle College High School, and C. E. Jordan High School.

Favorite college course: Capoeira

Christina joined the Emily K Center in 2019 as a postsecondary access advisor with Game Plan: College, bringing more than five years of experience with direct college-access work in both urban and rural settings. Today, Christina oversees our Game Plan: College program as our director of postsecondary access. She earned her B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Rachel Worsham

Rachel joined the Emily K Center as a postsecondary access advisor in 2018. She earned her B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her M.Ed. from North Carolina State University, where she is also currently a higher education Ph.D. candidate.

Rachel works with the following high schools: J.D. Clement Early College and Jordan.
