Director of College Readiness
The Emily K Center is looking for a dynamic leader who is committed to fostering opportunities for high school youth to develop, define, and carve their paths to their futures through access to high quality educational opportunities. If you are an experienced leader in the field of college readiness who is interested in working with a local nonprofit with a long history of service to students in the Durham community, read more about our Director of College Readiness position, which leads our Scholars to College program. Director of Communications and External Affairs
Are you an expert storyteller with an eye for detail? Do you enjoy strategic communications planning and grant writing? Are you passionate about educational access and equity? If so, then you might be a great fit for our Director of Communications and External Affairs position. Reporting to our Chief Advancement Officer, the Director is responsible for the Center’s day-to-day communications activities and a growing grants portfolio. Pioneer Scholars Lead Tutor
Do you have a passion for teaching elementary and middle school students and making learning fun? Are you great at building relationships with students and their parents and caregivers? Would you be excited to help develop curriculum that supports the development of academic skills and habits that will help students who are traditionally underrepresented in higher education prepare for long-term academic success?
