Associate Director of Postsecondary Access

The Emily K Center is currently accepting applications for the full-time position of Associate Director of Postsecondary Access. Reporting to the Senior Director of Programs, this position provides direct leadership of the Game Plan: College program and collaborates with key community stakeholders to develop and implement postsecondary advising services for high school students in Durham. College Readiness Counselor

The Emily K Center is currently accepting applications for the full-time position of College Readiness CounselorReporting to the Associate Director of College Readiness, the College Readiness Counselor is responsible for providing guidance and advising to students and parents and supporting the delivery of programmatic components and curriculum for the Scholars to College program, a college readiness program for students in grades 9-12. Office and Partnership Manager

The Emily K Center seeks to hire an Office and Partnership Manager. Under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer, this individual will serve a key role coordinating the work of Facility Partners, serving as a first point of contact for community members, and supporting the operations of the Emily K Center. Instructional Technology Specialist

The Emily K Center is currently accepting applications for the part-time position of Instructional Technology Specialist. Under the direct supervision of the Senior Director of Programs, the Instructional Technology Specialist will be responsible for teaching a variety of technology applications as well as proprietary, elective coding courses to students. In addition, this position will collaborate with program staff to more deeply embed technology into curricular and enrichment activities and design special projects to enhance students’ technological proficiency. This position is an exciting opportunity for a technology enthusiast to provide creative input into the Center’s burgeoning technology program.
