Celebrating 10 Years of Building Scholars-Changing Lives

This year, we are excited to mark our tenth year of building scholars and changing lives at the Emily Krzyzewski Center. This year will be particularly special as we serve more students than ever before and celebrate some major landmarks in the Center's history.  We hope you'll join us in celebrating these accomplishments this year!

This school year we welcome our largest enrollment to date of 225 K to College students.

In May, we will celebrate our largest class of high school graduates ever with 25 students proudly walking across the Emily K stage.

We will also see our first class of alumni graduate from college this year. Four students are expected to earn their diplomas, graduating from Wellesley College, Bennett College, UNC Chapel Hill and UNC Pembroke. They will join our very first college graduate who earned her diploma in just three years from East Carolina University this past May.

This year our volunteers will provide 5,000 hours of individualized tutoring and mentoring support to K to College students this year -- more hours and more impact than ever before.

We will celebrate the tenth year of our Facility Partnership program and continue to leverage our building as a resource for the broader Durham community.
