Camps
The Emily K Center holds two summer camps each year. These camps are designed to build skills, confidence, and character. Both camps are full-day and open to boys and girls ages 8-14.
The Chris Duhon Camp runs for one week and is led by experienced basketball players and coaches including former Duke star and current New York Knicks’ player Chris Duhon. Campers participate in skills stations, competitions and league games. Daily guest speakers including current college players will answer camper’s questions and sign autographs.
The Justice Theater Project Drama Camp runs for two week. Students will work with professional theater instructors from the Justice Theater Project studying acting, improvisation, dance, and the disciplines of design and production (costume, makeup, props and lights). This camp culminates in a fully mounted production with performances open to the family and friends of the campers and the community.
