Summer Drama Camp

Set against the backdrop of the Justice Theater Project, students entering grades 2 to 8 will immerse themselves in all aspects of the craft and artistry of theater.  In a supportive community, participants exercise their powers of imagination, build self-confidence and explore what it means to work in a creative ensemble.  For two weeks, students work with professional theater instructors studying acting, stage movement, improvisation, character development, various forms of physical theater, sign language for theater and the disciplines of design and production (costumes, makeup, props and lights).  Their work culminates in a fully mounted production each year.

Applications will be available at the Center in the spring for the 2009 summer drama camp.  Please contact us on 919-680-0308 for more information.
