External Research Partners
The Emily K Center understands the importance of evaluation and research. Our internal evaluation processes ensure that we can track and report on key indicators of student and program success and use those results to ensure continuous improvement. In addition to this ongoing evaluation, we may occasionally consider requests from external research partners.
In an effort to ensure that any research conducted within the Center is of high quality, produces tangible results that will benefit our students, programs, or organization, protects student and staff time from unauthorized or excessive data collection, and minimizes disruption during programming times, researchers must apply and secure approval before they begin any data collection from or about any Emily K Center students, families, or staff members.
The application must be completed, and all documents must be submitted no later than one month prior to the projected start date of the research. We have created a Frequently Asked Questions to assist researchers in completing their application materials. Read this document completely to ensure that your project meets all requirements.
Please note that visitations by Center partners or supporters are not considered research and may be arranged by calling 919-680-0308 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
